Notes	A complete, modern copy of the original from which it was copied, as appears in the corrections to the interview fixed in its footnotes. The text in it was written in black, tangy, dark watery ink only, on a French-made embossing of Italian origin, in which parallel lines appear and the distinctive commercial watermark, which is in the form of three successive crescents. The title page bears two stamped titles, one of which can be read as: “Ahmed bin Yusuf al-Kawazi al-Abbasi al-Basri,” and he is dated in the year 1163 AH, and the second is dated 1163 AH. In the name of: “Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Waisi, by Sharia Purchase, 25 C. 2 (25 Jumada Al-Thani) in the year 1280 AH”
Metin Başı (İncipit)	" الحمد لله الذي خص من شاء من عباده بعلو الإسناد وميزه بسلامة روي روايته من الإقواء والسناد ... أما بعد فيقول فقير به وأسير وصمة ذنبه سالم بن عبد الله بن سالم البصري الشافعي ... أنه لما كان الإسناد من الدين ومن جملة الطرق الموصلة إلى سيد الأولين والآخرين... وكان سيدي ووالدي... الشيخ... عبد الله بن سالم البصري الشافعي المكي قد انتهى إليه في هذا الزمن علو الإسناد ... وورد إليه طلب الإجازة من كل فج عميق ... وكانت أسانيده مفرقة غير مجتمعة ويخشى أن تكون مع طول الزمان منقطعة أردت جمع شملها وإبلاغ هديها إلى محلها ...".
