Notes
17.8 x 13 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (And Satan has confirmed his suspicion against them, so they followed him, except for a group of believers) [Saba: 20] with hexagrams, does not adhere to the Uthmani script, narration: by Abu Amr and Al-Basri, this is one of the sections of the Qur’an, where the writer made it into seven sections, naming each section with the name of a day of the week in the colloquial dialect. This section contains (14) surahs. He tried to adhere to the visual number in counting the verses, and he succeeded in that, except in Surat Fatir, where he made the number of its verses 44 verses, and the chapters: 55 verses, and no one said this, and he made the Saffat: 180 verses, which is a mistake for everyone, and he made the s: 88, which is a mistake, and the Shura: 53, and Al-Jathiya: 36, which suits the Kufic number, and the rest of the surahs agree with the visual number. If a word or sentence falls out on it, he draws an affix mark and then writes it in the footnote. If he makes a mistake in writing, he crosses out the error with intersecting lines and writes the correct one over it /and 11/. He may erase the error so that it does not appear /and 70/|| The information line of the Surah is written vertically, slanting to the left - above the letter S in (Basmalah) starting with the name of the Surah, then counting the verse and then descending. This line may be written horizontally along the line of writing, so he writes it in three small lines as in the Saffat. /v 17/ or in two lines as on p. /w 25/ and Ghafir /w 40/ and Fussilat /w 50/. It is in red, and varies the names of some of the surahs (Ghafir = length), (Fussilat = prostration), and makes the basmalah the last line on the page, as in Ghafir /and 40/. He adheres to the commentary, and adheres to writing the word “Allah” in red, as well as the words “Muhammad is the Messenger of God” in Al-Fath (v. 91/), and divides one word between two lines. This is how the first parties write. He divides the part into two parts only (Part) without any information, then (Part) like it, and he places it inside a rectangle whose sides may be decorated with lines. Although he does not adhere to the Uthmanic script, when he wrote the word (the scholars) in Fatir: 28, he put a suffix on top of it and wrote in the footnote in red (the scholars) /and 9/.||And likewise the word (naba) on p.: 21, so he wrote in the footnote (nabu’) /and 30/, and when God Almighty said: (Indeed, we will give victory) to Ghafir: 52, he wrote in the footnote in red (this is half of the seven). The regularization is with the known vowels except for (damm), as he makes it close to the letter dal like this (d), and the tidal mark is a long line above its place, and he wrote it above the word (al-sad) al-Fath: 6, then crossed out with short red lines above the tidal mark, and he may make mistakes in the grammaticalization, as in (Al-Aziz), p. 9, and the correct one is with a kasra al-zay, and Qalam Hadith corrected it, and the word (banyana) al-Saffat: 97 was written over it in an oval shape with a dot inside it, as if it is /v. 21/, as if To tilt.||The paper is thick and white and has begun to yellow in some places at the heel. He decorates the breaks between verses with a slightly large red dot, then frames it with a black line around it, which may be attached to it. He does not write any stop signs, and he may write the word (stop) only a little, as in /and 80/, line 4. It is indicated to be revealed with the letter (n), hidden (khaf), and inversions with the letter (m), and assimilation is not indicated except by stressing the next letter only. Some plural memes may be written with an error mark like this (X). Light humidity did not affect the text. Copied by: Abd al-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Sayyid Abu Bakr.. bin Khidr. End of the manuscript: God promised forgiveness and a great reward to those who believed and did righteous deeds among them. [Al-Fath: 29]
