Notes A complete and good copy, some of its pages are lined with a light pen, the heads of poverty and some of the words are in red, its leaves are split and have traces of moisture and sweat. It was mentioned in the sources as follows: The pillar of the rulings from the words of the best of the people - The pillar of the rulings on the features of the lawful and the forbidden from the best of the people Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him - The pillar of the rulings from what Imam Al-Bukhari and Muslim agreed upon. Most of these sources cited a sentence from the beginning of the book that agrees with the beginning of this manuscript, except for revealing suspicions. In which it was stated that the beginning of the pillar of the rulings: “Praise be to God, the most complete and perfect of praise...” It was also mentioned that Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Marzouq Al-Tilmisani Al-Makki, who died in the year 781 AH. He explained Al-Umdah in a book called: Taysir Al-Maram fi Sharh Umdat Al-Ahkam, and its beginning (i.e. the beginning of the explanation) is Praise be to God, the Mighty King..., and God knows best what is correct.
