Notes
Earth, wetness, and humidity, 18.5 x 12 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: O God, O Converter of hearts, direct our hearts towards Your satisfaction, and bless those who have been given the most comprehensive words from among Your prophets. Our Lord, do not hold us accountable for transgressions in the past, and direct our affairs now and in the future. The author, may God have mercy on him, said in accordance with the famous hadith and the well-known tradition, and following the example of the Noble Book: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and designating his book as the beginning of the Qur’an. The words and phrases of the text were written in red until Folio 71, and then they began to be underlined in red, with the chapters throughout the copy written in red. The copy is corrected and includes footnotes and comments. The first copy was recorded as an endowment in Dar al-Hadith, which was built by Mustafa Pasha in the city of Kastamonu in the year 1232 AH. Then there are various writings on the cover of the copy. Transcribed by: Mustafa bin Muharram End of the manuscript: ... An unknown tawā is a tawā, for if he placed the waw above it with his heart as an alfa and with its sukānah, the kasra would be heavy on the waw and the conjunction of the two vowels would not be necessary, except that it would not cause a burden on the tawā.
