نسخة حديثة حسنة ، تكاد تكون نادرة ، اختصرها الأهدل من كتاب الرياض المستطابة في معرفة من كان له رؤية ورواية في الصحيحين من الرواية لأبي زكريا يحيى بن أبي بكر العامري التهامي الحنفي المتوفى سنة 893 هـ [ذكر بروكلمان عدداً من نسخها وقال إنها طبعت في بهوبال بالهند سنة 1302 هـ ، ملحق 2/ 226 ] ، أوراقها مفككة والظاهر It was taken from a group forcibly, and this is what manuscript merchants always do, so they harm the collection and do good to their pockets. The text was written in dark brown ink in general, and the copyist used red ink to draw sentence breaks in the form of commas, warning lines, and so on, on a European-made, satin white kraft paper in which parallel lines and the trademark watermark [three consecutive crescents] appear. He attached to it a poem by Abd al-Majid bin Abdoun, who died in the year 527 AH. In history, it laments the sons of the snub-nosed [folio 9b-10b], the news of the caliphate of Muawiyah bin Yazid and his retirement from the caliphate [folio 10b-11a], and a poem by Ibn al-Rumi, the beginning of which is: They are in the depths of the earth after its appearance ~ their virtues contain the urine of worms, in addition to another set of verses from poems by other poets.

((... قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يا علي أتدري من أشقى الأولين قال عاقر ناقة صالح قال صدقت أتدري من أشقى الآخرين قال الله ورسوله أعلم قال الذي يضربك من على هذه وأشار إلى يافوخة ... فضربه ابن ملجم الخارجي بخنجره في دماغه وهو خارج لصلاة الفجر فمات بعد يومين ودفن في قصر الإمارة بالكوفة قال الخجندي الأصح عندهم أنه مدفون من وراء المسجد ... واختلف في سنه فاسدّ الأقوال ثلاث وستون سنة كان سن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأبي بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهم وهذا عن عجيب الاتفاقات كما قيل والله أعلم )).
