Notes	The title page, written by the copyist, bears the following title (This is a copy on algebra and contrast, may God have mercy on its author and all Muslims)?! Hence, he did not indicate a title or an author. The text was written entirely in bright black tan ink, with some letters in red ink, in addition to the breaks between the poetic verses as well as the titles. The text was written on thick, rough, white paper with parallel lines and a commercial watermark consisting of three consecutive crescents. What indicates the piety of the copyist is that he deposited part of himself in his manuscript, saying, “And I deposited in it the testimony that there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace,” and he concluded it with two lines of poetry.
Metin Başı (İncipit)	(أما بعد حمد الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله فالغرض اختصار المقنع وسميت مختصرة بالمسرع ليسهل على من قصرت همته وتناوله والله المستعان في كل ما أحاول :ـ - بحمد إلهي أبتدي ما أحاول ~ وأهدي صلاة مع سلام وشاكل - على المصطفى خير الأنام وآله ~ وأصحابه ثم الدعي يتواصل - لفخر الزمان المنتمي بحلاوة ~ على عليه سحب جود هو أطل - وبعد فعلم الجبر علم معظم ~ يميل إليه المتقنون الأفاضل - وإني لحاوليه في قصيدة ~ بها يكتفي ذو فطنة ويطاول - وها أنا ساع في الذي قد قصدته ~ وعوناً من المولى الحجي أنا سائل - أسماء الأنواع المجهولة ومراتبها...).
