It was infested with dirt, mice, neglect, and misuse, so its leaves became worn out and its sides were torn. It begins during the translation of the poet Ibn Anin [page 15 of the fifth part of the investigation by Ihsan Abbas] and ends on page 184 of the seventh part during the letter sent by Sultan Saladin al-Ayyubi to the Caliphate Office in Baghdad announcing the conquest of Jerusalem. The text was written in generally dark tangy black ink, and the copyist used red ink to write proper nouns, vowel lines, sentence breaks, and some paragraph headings, on a rough, white, European-made scribe in which parallel lines and the faded commercial watermark appear, which is not clearly visible to the eye. It was owned by Sheikh Suleiman bin Abdul Rahman bin Hamdan and has his handwriting on it.
