The beginning of the manuscript: The best thing with which to cover the heart of speech and the most beautiful thing with which to detail the system’s contract is Praise be to Him, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour. And after that, it is known that literature is delivered to the knowledge of the sciences. Through it one reaches an understanding of them, and from it one expects to reach them. The moisture and ground did not affect the reading of the text. The outside of the skin was decorated with a medallion decorated with some corrections on it. They were replaced by the original. I wrote proverbs and lines. Warning in red ink, explanation in black ink. Transcribed by: Suleiman bin Nour Allah al-Hamwi al-Sawari. End of the manuscript: Some of the predecessors said: The hands are three: a white hand, which is the beginning, a green hand, which is the reward, and a black hand, which is the manna. Some of them were asked: What is the mind? He said: Suspicion and knowing what was and what will be. The Collection of Proverbs was written.
