Notes	Part of several parts of a copy containing an engineering report on the best ways to build dams in the course of the Nile River. The report is divided into sections bearing numbers. This part that has reached us begins with section numbered 1007 and ends with section numbered 1022. Attached to this part is an Arabic translation of an article published in French in the newspaper ((Monitor Egyptian)) published on June 2, 13, 14, and 15 of the year. 1883, and this article was appended with the name: A. Said in Frankish letters. Perhaps he is the author of the report located on folios 9b-13b. The text in this part was written in pale violet ink, and the illustrations were drawn in the same ink. The translation of the article was written in dark violet black ink (Chinese, also called Indian) on a modern letterhead lined horizontally and vertically, which was attached to the copy. A map containing illustrations of dam construction. The copy was in the Ahmed Khairy Library.
