Notes 21 x 15 cm The beginning of the manuscript: We praise you, O who have reached the highest hopes of arranging what we know of the conditions of men and brought us closer to what was unattainable. The servant says: Nour al-Din Ali bin Haider Ali al-Qimni.. When I found the book marked with the summary of sayings about men’s knowledge of the sea..||Hassan bin Yusuf bin Ali bin al-Mutahhar al-Hilli.. Moisture and wetness, I wrote the headings and paragraph heads in ink. Red. Its leaves are broken. There is a difference in the date of the author’s death. It was mentioned in some references, such as Hadiyat al-Arifeen 1/749, that he died in the year 980 AH. Some of them also mentioned that he was Ali bin Hussein and not Ali bin Haider. The first, second, and last pages were written in a handwriting different from the rest of the manuscript, and on Oriental paper. Leaves 3-65 were also written on European paper, and leaves 66-88 were written on Oriental paper. Perhaps all of this is due to the fact that the book completed its shortcomings on different paper and with different fonts. End of the manuscript: Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings be upon the best of His creation, Muhammad and his pure family.. This is the ultimate goal of hopes in arranging the summary of the sayings.. The compiler has finished his classification, may God increase his benefits, the sixteenth of Rabi’ al-Akhir in the year six hundred and ninety-three.. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, Amen..
