His land affected some of the words in the text, the outer size is 22 x 16 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and all his family. After that, this is a comprehensive summary for knowledge of the science of hadith, arranged according to its introduction and the purposes of the introduction in explaining its origins and terminology. It has some corrections and some footnotes in the index of (Alward) and (Princeton). The treatise is not attributed, and also in Index of the Endowments Library in Baghdad, No. 739, and mentioned again under No. 742, attributed to Sharif al-Jurjani, who died in the year 679 AH. In Princeton, he mentioned several copies of it and mentioned their whereabouts. Some sources stated that the manuscript is a footnote to Al-Tibi’s compendium on the principles of hadith. It was met in another copy at the end of the manuscript: Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi was born in the year three hundred and ninety-two and died in Baghdad in the year sixty-three.. Completed
