The manuscript deals with three parts, the first of which is the first chapter on the area of shapes surrounded by straight lines, the second chapter on the squaring of the circle and its parts, the third chapter on the area of bodies with flat surfaces, the fourth chapter on the cylinder and the cone, the fifth chapter on equal bodies and their perimeters, and this part is followed by an appendix entitled Additions to the first part on the most famous issues of calculating the sections of a cone and its area, shapes and bodies resulting from it and containing a number of operations in Heliji, Al-Hadhauli and how to draw them. And in the area of distance, height, the surface of the earth, and in the rules of the sailing cable. Followed by the second part, entitled (On Navigation), meaning the sea wire, the first chapter on the simple wire, in the dimension and width table, the second chapter on the parallel wire and the wire on a middle width, the third chapter on the Mercator wire, and this chapter contains a table of degrees and minutes, and the fourth chapter on the transverse wire, the fifth chapter, which contains some miscellaneous matters related to this section (the simple chart - the Mercator chart - in the curved wire). This is followed by the third part on land surveying, the first chapter on the area of a piece of land by measuring its perimeter, and the second on some specific surveying methods. The third chapter is on dividing lands and describing them in an imposed form. The fourth chapter is on facilitating the work of canals and canals. In the three parts, each chapter contains a number of arithmetic and engineering operations and issues and applied examples of them. The manuscript is in good condition, although some of its leaves are torn and the title page is missing and the ground is scattered between its leaves. The text was written in black ink in general, while Operations, issues, and some numbers scattered here and there in red ink, and the text was written on brown Egyptian paper.
