The chapters of the text and the pronunciation of his words are written in red ink. The titles of the investigations and demands were written in the margins of the text in red block letters. After that, the Book of Lights on its Companion, the Mercy of the Forgiver, spread throughout the lands and regions with lessons, fatwas, and reliance on it on the path of piety... But the difficulty of its words added to the report and the ambiguity of its meanings overshadowed the introduction... So I was puzzled, devoid of knowledge and dispersed, and I could not find anything other than seeking help from God to help me by clarifying the book’s hidden areas for the students... So I sought God’s help and began, in the year one hundred and thousand and ten, to serve the book... and I called it the pear... wetness and wetness at the end of the manuscript: ...
