Notes	Despite the late date of this copy, it is one of the rare copies of this manuscript. The manuscript does not contain a preface, an introduction, or an explanation of the purpose of this book. It is part of a collection that contains (pp. 1-300). An index of seven pages that precedes the text was prepared for the collection’s letters. The manuscript in our hands contains an index of the medical material, i.e. the art of treatment (in relaxing, soothing, and laxative medications. # In tonics taken in food, # Tonic treatment in general. , # in plant tonics, # in nerve tonics, i.e. stimulants, # in balsams, # in anthelmintic drugs, # in the science of medicinal substances and the art of treatment), and the index ends with (F. Patience). However, the copyist left blank sheets of paper and did not complete it. He wrote the text in glossy tangy black ink on thick, brown-grained paper with numbered pages in pencil, with which he wrote on a page preceding the first sheet the phrase (Complete 7 Rabi’ Thani of the year 1356 - June 16, 1937)
Metin Başı (İncipit)	[ في الأدوية المرخية أو الملطفة أو الملينة] هذه الأدوية هي قسم من جملة أقسام الأدوية المستعملة طباً وغايتها إرخاء الأنسجة التي تلامسها أي أنها تضعف توترها الإلتهابي وتقلل حساسيتها وأفعالها الحيوية وهذا كله بخاصية التليين أو التلطيف التي تحدثه في ألياف الأنسجة وجوهر هذه الرتبة تنقسم إلى قسمين لعابية أو غروية وزيتية وكلها تأتي من المملكتين النباتية و الحيوانية ولذا تعد معدية وشفائية وعلى العموم أودية هذه الرتبة تكون تفهة الطعم لزجة أو سكرية لأن جواهرها النباتية تتركب من مادة صلابة وزلالية وجسم شحمي..].
