The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon His Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his family and all his companions. And after: This is a small glimpse of the science of arithmetic that is necessary to know for anyone who wants to begin the obligatory prayers. It will be beneficial, God Almighty willing. Within a group, which is the third letter, I wrote the paragraph heads and titles in red ink, with a comment in the margin, and at the end of the letter (3 pages) in the Turkish language, issues in inheritance and succession, and two pages (91-92) are blank. End of the manuscript: If it is said: Divide three and two-thirds by half and one-third, then multiply the numerator of the divisor by three and divide the first result, which is sixty, by the second result, which is fifteen, then the answer is four, and if the division of fifteen is reversed from sixty, then the answer is four. This analogy is sufficient for whoever God Almighty grants him success, and God is the One who seeks help.
