The beginning of the manuscript: And what follows: O you who are afflicted with your mind, who is implicated in your ignorance, whose fall is evident, who is obscene in his mistake, who stumbles at the tail end of his deceit, a dampness that did not affect the reading of the text. The end of the manuscript: That is for what your hands have put forth to taste the calamity of your cause, and to see the scale of your destiny.
