Notes The first page of it is braided in red and black ink, 22 x 16.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, who bestows His bounty upon all His servants. Yahmud. This is the introduction to the book Kalila and Dimna, presented by Yahmud bin Ishaq Al-Persi, known as Ali bin Shah Al-Persian. He mentioned the reason for which Bidya, the Indian philosopher, wrote for Dibalshim, King of India, the book that he called Kalila and Dimna... It has traces of its earth, moisture and wetness. Within this collection is the first book of it. The headings of paragraphs, chapters, chapters, and some words and phrases were written in red ink.
