A good copy, the word (chapter) in red, and in a few margins there are corrections, the first of which is useful, and the last of which is an index of the topics of the book. The copyist indicated at the end of the copy that he copied it from a copy in the handwriting of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin Abdul Rahman al-Hanbali, and it was copied in Cairo in the year 811 AH. The copyist also mentioned that he wrote this copy with the advice of the Governor of the Karbala District, Ahmad Shaker Effendi Alusi Zadeh, and at the end of the copy he recorded a dedication from Shaker Effendi Alusi Zadeh.

... قلت وقوله في القديم أصح وأولى لما تقدم من قوة القرعة وأدلتها وأن في إيقاف المال حتى يصطلحا عليه تأخير الخصومة وتعطيل المال وتعريضه للتلف أو لكثرة المؤنة فالقرعة أولى بالسلوك وأقربها إلى فصل النزاع وما احتج به الشافعي في القديم على صحتها من أصح الأدلة ولهذا قال هي أشبه وبالجملة فمن تأمل ما ذكرنا في القرعة تبين له أن القول بها أولى من إيقاف المال أبدا حتى يصطلح المدعون وبالله التوفيق تم.
