| Notes |
The letter is the ninth out of a collection, and it is damaged by dampness, wetness, and tears. External size: 21 x 14.6 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Remember God, know His unseen, be kind and merciful to what is past, and advance and predecessors from the hadiths of Al-Asam. It narrates the hadith on the authority of Salih... that he said: While I was walking in the streets of Baghdad... it was damp and wet. Copied by: Hasan Al-Khatib bin Isa bin Salamah Al-Ruwaisi. The end of the manuscript: Then he came to the grave of his son Ahmed Al-Basti, may God have mercy on him, and took him out of it and carried him to the city of Baghdad and worked. His grave is a scene with an imam, muezzins, and close associates to this day. This is what we learned from the story of Ahmed Al-Basti, son of King Harun Al-Rashid. |
