Notes Salnama Si, which appears in the title of the manuscript, is a Turkish phrase that means the report that was sent by the highest bodies in the country (under the rule of the Ottoman Empire) to the Sublime Porte, that is, to the Caliph in Istanbul. Initially, these reports were sent in Arabic, then they were sent in Arabic letters, but in the Ottoman language. It is a modern version, most of whose pages are devoid of any writing. It contains a short introduction that occupied pages 2 and 3, and a note on paper 5 that said: ((The calendar table is located on 17 pages of the publication, and we left it for it.) Here is a blank that we may quote in the future if a copy of this book is obtained.) The text actually begins on folio 17a and ends on 25a, and begins with ((The well-known facts before the Hijra in the year 6213, the creation of Adam, peace be upon him, taking into account the calendar of dates)), and the entire text consists of a series of historical incidents, inventions, and periods of states from the creation of Adam to the killing of Marwan II, the last Umayyad caliph, arranged according to the years. The text was written in black, watery tangy ink. Dark on the Ottoman-made kajd, it is brown in color. The official Ottoman factories produced it for official and public use until the end of the rule of Sultan Abdul Hamid and perhaps shortly after.
Yazı Tipi
Metin Sonu (Explicit) ((...
