The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God as He commanded, and blessings be upon Muhammad, the best of mankind, and upon his family and companions as long as the sun and the moon remain. As for what follows, know that disjunctive repetition is not suspected of division because it revolves between propositions according to their truth and fulfillment in the same matter. Likewise, presumptive repetition is not suspected if it is related to a real partial or a closed whole. Within this group is the fourteenth letter, of which there are traces of wetness at the end of the manuscript: And the definition is conducive to perception, while the verbal definition is intended for ratification, as taught by intuition and conquest. The honorable message of the honorable Mr. Sharif, may his gentle soul be sanctified, O Moin.
