Notes	A modern copy, to which was included a book of benefits comprehensive with logical rules by Ahmad bin Mulla Muhammad, known as Qutb al-Din, in his own handwriting. He presented it to Jamil Pasha in the year 1300 AH [folio 21a-28a]. The text was written in dark, watery black tan ink, on a European-made, brown-coloured cursive devoid of lines or commercial watermarks, and on it appears a pressed stamp that reads: ((A new work from the era of Humayun)). This kug was made in England for a Moroccan or Turkish importer [?], and on it were written Moroccan and Levantine manuscripts - Levantine, Iraqi, Yemeni, Egyptian, Hijazi, and Turkish as well. At the end of the copy appear two verses written by the scribe in his own handwriting: I wrote the book and finished it ~ and I worked myself hard until I got it ~ and I fear that if I die ~ my book will be sold for the price of an onion.
