Notes A complete copy and corresponding to the original, the first page contains the text of the endowment: “This honorable copy was given by Hajj Sanatullah Effendi Al-Mufti with a valid endowment for life and explicit imprisonment for eternity, with the condition of succession being to his two sons, Muhammad Masoud Effendi and Hajj Khalil Effendi, and after them to their male children, and after extinction to the scholars of Amad. Whoever changes it after he has heard it, his sin is on those who change it, and I have ruled that it is valid. The Lord is a caliphate in the city of Amad.” And below it is his seal, “Servant of the Sharia, Muhammad Saad Allah,” and below it in red ink, “I have placed this book on the condition of our enduring grandfather, the Dar al-Kutub, which I built in my school, Al-Raghibiya, and I am the poor Hajj Muhammad Raghib Masoud Effendi.” And on the last page is the text of “To whom the poor person wrote, Glory be to Him, Izzat al-Sayyid Ahmad, the teacher at the Khusraw Pasha School in the Amad School.” And below it is his eight-sided seal, in three lines, written, “O Giver.” The gifts, forgive me my sins - Abdo Ahmed. The text was written in black, tangy ink, which is comprehensive in general, while the chapter titles are in red ink, as well as the warning lines. The text was written on light-grained, soft-textured, white paper with parallel lines and a commercial watermark, which is a circle with a palm tree inside it, from which fruits hang in the form of two triangles, a triangle on each side with its base up, and a six-pointed star emerging from the circle.
