Notes A famous book on Hanbali jurisprudence, in which the author combined two books: Al-Iqna’ li Talib al-Intifa’ by Abu al-Najah Musa bin Ahmad bin Musa bin Salem al-Hijjawi al-Hanbali, d. 968 AH, and Muntaha al-Iradāt in the collection of al-Muqni’ with revisions and additions by Abu al-Baqā’ Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Aziz al-Futḥ al-Hanbali al-Masri, known as Ibn al-Najjar, d. 972 AH, with important jurisprudential additions, a valuable copy full of footnotes, included in the collection (1a-314a), and written in black and red ink, at the beginning and end of which are the following: 1/ Ownership and endowment registration in the name of Abdullah Aba Butin. 2/ Benefit in parsing the sentence: He is my suffice and He is the best disposer of affairs. 3/ The start date of copying this copy was recorded as Sunday 11/25/1184 AH. 4/ Two poetic verses in praise of the book. 5/ A text narrated by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya about five qualities by which work is accomplished. 6/ A grammatical benefit on the authority of Ibn Atwa al-Hanbali. 7/ A long poem on the narration of the Nun in Taqreez Al-Kitab, organized by Abu Al-Mawahib Muhammad bin Abdul-Baqi Al-Baali Al-Hanbali, d. 1126 AH. The first is: Praise be to God, He is sufficient for the virtuous gentlemen and is convinced that the intention of those who asked has been achieved. The poem is repeated twice 8/ A poem on Roy Al-Mim for the book, composed by Ahmed Al-Muqri, the beginning of which is:; May God reward Mar’i bin Yusuf the best way he can reward a scholar for compiling the jurisprudence of his imam. The poem was repeated twice. 9/ A poem on Roy Al-Nun, composed by Ahmed Al-Bakri in praise of the book, the beginning of which is:; Glory be to my Lord, may He be exalted, and His benevolence encompasses all of existence 10/ A poem on Roy Al-Lam in praise of the book, composed by Mahmoud Effendi, the beginning of which is:; A book that contained all the virtues and contained the core of what the best had written
