The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who sent down the Book to His servant and did not make it crooked. Prayers and peace be upon the best of His creation, Muhammad and his family, always and forever. Then the poor wretch says: The most worthy of knowledge in remembrance and thought and the noblest in status and value is the knowledge of the Book of God Almighty, Glory be to Him, and the first of His sciences presented is the science of Tajweed. The end of the manuscript: So take this and be of those who are thankful, and do not let unemployment make you weary of prolonging, and let the end of the message be praise. To God, by whose glory and majesty good deeds are accomplished, and upon His Messenger Muhammad and upon his family, the best prayers and most complete greetings. Glory be to our Lord, Lord of glory over what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
