The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, who established the foundations of principles in the laws of the Prophet’s Sharia and branched out the branches in the path of the Mustafawiyya order... And then he says... Yahya bin Bakhshi bin Bakhshi bin Ibrahim... when the book called the Sharia of Islam was like its name, Sharia and a Path to the House of Peace... but no clear explanation of what was in it occurred to it... it was damp and the end of the manuscript was wet: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. Praise be to God Almighty for the blessing of granting success to completion, and since the arrival of that blessing, indeed all blessings, was due to him, peace be upon him, and his family was his helper in that, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family. He showed him the good that extends to the companions, so he said, in sympathy with praise, and prayers and peace be upon His Messenger Muhammad and his family.. We praise Him for what He has bestowed upon us to complete the explanation for the seekers, and we pray for His Beloved, upon his family, upon all his companions, and upon all who He followed them with goodness until the Day of Judgment... preceded by an index of the chapters of the book. I wrote paragraph headers and placed warning lines in red ink. Humidity and wetness affected its pages, especially the upper edges.
