| Notes |
The outer size is 20.7 x 13.3 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: To raise an essay uttered by an eloquent and judicious speaker, and to create a style in which we praise the Lord of his eloquence, the ink of exposition and the numbers of noble pens. And after that, God Almighty, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting, revealed in His Book (And none of us except him has a known station)... The leather was decorated from the outside with gilded geometric tables with a medallion in the middle, in the middle of which was a gilded Egyptian crown. The text was written in ink. Black, some words, phrases and commas in red ink. The text was written on multi-colored paper. In Q. 42 we quote from the book Hasan al-Muhadhatha by al-Suyuti. And in Q. 43 we say in Turkish at the end of the manuscript: The day has thirteen hours and the night has eleven hours, nineteen of which are the first of the sunshine and the twenty of which is the dawn.. And God Almighty knows best. It was completed with God’s praise, help, and good success. |
