Notes
The letter is a response to Ibn Muammar’s book “The Fruits of Punishment in the Response to Those Who Do Not Rule by the Sunnah and the Book.” The author of the annotated letter was not mentioned by name, but it was mentioned in the context of the footnote that he may be Abd al-Malik al-Hanafi, who had previously debated with Ibn Muammar in Mecca. As for the commentator or commentator, he is one of the jurists of the Ottoman Empire, and the footnotes were filled with refutations of the similarities and falsehoods in the letter and his explanation. As for the author of this response, he was not mentioned either, and I suspect that he is the owner of the previous copy, Fawzan, who wrote this. Reply on 28 Safar 1317 AH.
