Notes	A modern, naive copy of the legendary, fabricated colloquial literature that was read in public gatherings and cafes to satisfy the imagination of the common people. The text was written in dark, watery black ink that contained a high percentage of gum arabic, which led to some papers sticking together and some letters and words being blurred. The copyist used the red ink to write the heads of poverty, the names of the companions, the name of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, phrases of prayers, parts of Qur’anic verses, and so on, on a Turkish-made kerchief made of wood pulp. Brown in color, free of any lines or water marks.
