Notes
The top of the first page is decorated with red and gold water. The first and second pages are braided with gold water. The outer size is 21.2 x 14.8 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the end is for the righteous. There is no aggression except against the oppressors, and prayers and peace be upon his Prophet Muhammad and all his family. I know that one of the advanced students is required to serve Sheikh Imam Zain al-Din||Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Abu Hamid Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Ghazali, may God Almighty have mercy on him. Within this group is the second letter from it. I wrote the paragraph headings and the word “Oh boy” in red ink. The dividers between the phrases on the first and second pages were placed in the form of a small circle with gold water. Explanations were written under the lines of the text sometimes and in the margin at other times. I also sometimes wrote it in reverse, opposite the lines of the text, or in italics, and some of the explanations were written in Persian. Its leaves are disjointed. The date of copying was written in a different ink than the text in the year 1257. This date is doubtful, as the handwriting is closer to the lines of the eleventh or twelfth century AH. It has traces of wetness and dampness on it. Explanations and comments. Copy: Muhammad Khalifa. End of manuscript: And free our necks and the necks of our fathers and mothers and our children and our clan and our brothers and the necks of the believing men and women from Hell with your mercy and your grace, O Mighty, O Forgiving, O Generous, O Star, O Forbearing, O Mighty, O God, O God, O God, O Most Compassionate of this world and the hereafter. The poor, O Most Merciful of the merciful, and may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. The book has been completed with the help of God, King Al-Wahhab.
