A good, complete copy, written on lined modern paper, with notes on it, and some of the margins with comments and corrections. On the title page appears a registration of ownership in the name of the above-mentioned copyist. The registration states that he was born in Mecca in the year 1323 AH. It is a footnote to Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani’s explanation of his elite. The manuscript was written by Suleiman bin Abdul Rahman al-Sana’i in the year 1358 AH. From a copy written by Hamza bin Mustafa Muhammad Saqr al-Madani, dated 1347 AH. The latter was copied from an original written in the year 1177 AH. It is preserved in the Mahmoudiya Library in Medina.

... وبيت قصيدها وعمدة مقصودها بيان أنه لا شرط في قبول الرواية إلا صدق الراوي وضبطه ولا يرد إلا لكذبه وسوء حفظه أو نحوهما وإن هذا شرط متفق عليه بين كل طائفة والخلاف في القدح لما عداه وما عداه قد أثبتت الأدلة على أنه لا قدح به في الرواية والله سبحانه ولي التوفيق والهداية نسأله أن يرزقنا معرفة الحق واتباعه ويجعلنا أهله وأتباعه وصلى الله على من نرجو بجاهه الشفاعة في يوم الحشر والنشر وقيام الساعة وعلى آله وأزواجه أمهات المؤمنين.
