Notes
A valuable copy dating up to the author’s era, written with a mastered copy pen, included in the collection (1 A-243 A), and written in black and red ink. It has useful footnotes in the biographies in the handwriting of Ibn Hamid, the author of the Rainy Clouds. We know the name of the copyist from the end of the second part of the book. Bakr Abu Zayd, may God have mercy on him, reviewed it and pointed out it, as in the introduction to his investigation of the Clouds 1/62, at the beginning of the copy and the end of the following:
- Ownership registration in the handwriting of Ibrahim bin Nasser bin Jadid.
- A purchase record for the copy written by Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak Al-Hanbali.
- Ownership registration in the handwriting of Muhammad bin Abdul Latif al-Hanbali, the imam of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus.
- A visionary poem in praise of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, which was not attributed to the one who said it. The beginning of it is:; O people, look and think. This is Al-Muzzammil Al-Muddaththir
- An old, unorganized index with the names of the translators in this book.
- Index of the last hadith in which the names are arranged.
- The number of translators was recorded at 545 translations.
- A record of reading in the handwriting of the famous scholar Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Humaid al-Najdi al-Hanbali, d. 1295 AH. The author of the rainy clouds over the Hanbali shrines. The author viewed it on several nights, the last of which was on the morning of Sunday 1/23/1271 AH.
- An appended translation by Ibn Qadi Ajloun al-Hanbali, copied from Ibn Muflih’s book Fi Tabaqat al-Ashab, meaning his book al-Maqsad al-Arshad fi Tabaqat al-Ashaba of Imam Ahmad.
- An entry written by Ibn Hamid, the author of the books, stating that Ibn Rajab did not include in his book the tail of the Hanbali classes after the year 750 AH. From the Hanbalis, although his death was delayed until 795 AH.
- Recording the birth of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Humaid with the call to prayer on Sunday morning 10/19/1275 AH. Then God Almighty chose him on the year 1280 AH.
