The first is a truncated copy. About one sheet of it was lost, which includes the title page and the preamble. It was not possible to find the name of the author by searching in the references for verifying the titles. It is mentioned that Al-Shatibiyyah has many explanations, abbreviations, and continuations that were mentioned in Kashf Al-Zunun 1/646 - 649. This copy was written in black ink, and some of the titles and important words were written in red ink. It is a corresponding and corrected copy. It was written by Omar bin Ibrahim Al-Masadi, who is a reciter from Al-Ulama, of Hamawi origin, of Damascene birth and death, and perhaps he is the author. See his biography in Al-A’lam 5/39 - 40.
