And after that, know that I am confused about making an exception in his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: (And as for those who are happy, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills.) He deems the immortality of some of the people of Paradise to be lost, so I said that it is permissible for the exception to his noble saying to be in Paradise... As for The answer is to make the exception discontinuous, and as the Hanafi school of thought says that the exception speaks of what remains after the discontinuity, then it is very far away, as is not hidden from the meditator.
