Notes	Its soil and humidity, the outer size is 26 x 17.8 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who has granted success to those whom He has chosen to gain understanding in religion. As for what follows, the poor servant says: Some of the brothers have asked me many times to write him a nice, easy letter regarding what is necessary to correct the doctrine and acts of worship, in a wonderful arrangement and in a precious form according to the doctrine of Imam Ibn Idris. I wrote the headings and paragraph heads in red ink. The book is followed by poetic excerpts by the author, including the date of composition (1286 AH). Copied by: Ahmed bin Yusuf Judah. The end of the manuscript: This is what was easy to collect from what is necessary for the one responsible for monotheism and jurisprudence according to the doctrine of Imam al-Shafi’i. May God benefit us with it in this world and the hereafter and clothe us with crowns of acceptance and luxurious clothes of happiness. Amen. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet, and upon his family and companions.
