Notes
Its Earth, Its Humidity, and Its First Two Pages are decorated in blue, yellow, and red. The text (the surahs and verses in a table) 30.2 x 20.2 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful, Owner of the Day of Judgment. Five pamphlets. The narration is Hafs on the authority of Asim. He rarely adheres to the Uthmani script. The number of verses is mostly Kufi, and he may make mistakes in the summary, and the pages are not directed. He adheres to commentary. He rarely notes in the footnotes the divisions of parts, etc., He never wrote stopping marks of any kind, as if the work on the Qur’an had not been completed due to all these shortcomings and others that follow. He decorated Al-Fatihah and the beginning of Al-Baqarah in a vertical gilded frame to the right and left of the writing, then an upper and lower rectangle with gilded background in which nothing was written. He framed it with a wide orange rectangle, then gilded at the bottom only, then blue, then gilded, then yellow, then gold as an outer border for the whole page, and at the top in the form of a wavy dome with gilding on it. The decoration is simple and does not contain any complexity or artistry, and no data was written in the two surahs.||The frame of the pages is only a double red rectangle. It is interrupted by the word coming out, which means that he wrote the page with something that could be erased and then added the frames. The commas are a medium red dot, and they may be three at the end of some surahs. After that, nothing of the parts, their divisions, prostrations, etc. should be decorated. The information about the surah is in one line. He frames it with two red lines, upper and lower, in which he writes data and may include words from the end of the previous surah. He writes in it the name of the surah, the number of verses, and the revelation. He neglected to write the details in Al-Ma’idah, Al-Hashr, and Al-Munafiqun, so he did not write anything in it. Or he writes only the name of the surah, as in Muhammad, Al-Muzamil, Al-Mursalat, and Al-Nazi’at. He does not write symbols, which are many. He may make this line at the end of the page, as in: Al-Qasas, Al-Jathiya, Al-Hujurat, and Al-Tathakhar. The names of some of the surahs are varied, including (repentance = innocence), (ghafir = the believer), (abs = the blind), (al-takwir = kurt), (al-sharh = did we explain), and (evidence = value). The Qur’an was subjected to sloppy restoration, in which the edges of some of the pages were cut off. Omissions in the Qur’an are quite frequent, they are compensated for in horizontal or vertical footnotes, most of them are sentences and the least are words. They may be long and placed in a vertical line outside the page, as in /v. 209/, even though he originally wrote them. The paper is large, so it is possible to write the Qur’an on a fairly small amount of paper. The calligraphy is average and does not contain the artistry of calligraphers, but rather it is that of an ordinary man.||The impurities that entered into the manufacture of the paper began to interact and affect the color of the paper, and some of them are very small pieces of metal. He mentions the parts at the beginning with the word (juzā), then he does not mention his divisions except very rarely. He mentioned some prostrations with the red word “prostration” in the footnote, but he did not elaborate. He added the word (Amen) at the end of the Fatiha by mistake and oversight because it is agreed upon that it is not a word from the Qur’an, so it is not correct to write it at all. The paper is white, with parallel lines and factory watermarks visible, and the color of the paper has begun to change. The end of the manuscript: One of the evils of the whisperer is the deceitful one who whispers into the hearts of people from heaven and humanity
