Notes
Earth, moisture and wetness, 17.5 x 11.4 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The first two pages are decorated, the Qur’an is written inside golden cloud frames and their frames are like chains, then the upper and lower rectangle in the details of the surah with a golden ground and a wonderful floral decoration. Surrounding all of this is a stylized decoration in the form of flowers with a ground throughout, then decorative lines emerge from it, distinguishing the corners. By increasing it. It is a gift from the head of the Ashraf Syndicate: Mr. Muhammad Saeed Al Hamza to the President of the Syrian Republic: Taj al-Din bin al-Hasani (1928 AD - 1931 AD) (d. 1943 AD). Then at the end, a dedication from: Taj al-Din bin Badr al-Din bin Youssef al-Hassani to: King Abdulaziz Al Saud, dated: 10/11/1361 AH, corresponding to 20/11/1942 AD. He writes the information about the surah inside a line with a gold background, in which he writes in white the name of the surah, its revelation, and the number of its verses. The number of verses mostly follows Kufi, but it may mention strange numbers that do not agree with any number, as in Surat An-Nisa: (170) and Yusuf (120). As for the brushes of the surah, it does not follow a specific number, but rather a mixture. He was lining the page before writing, and the effects of the lines being compressed were clearly visible. He writes pause marks in red letters above the text, and may write words such as (stop) (stroke). Verse separators are gilded circles with geometric lines.||The setting in the Qur’an agrees with the narration of Hafs on the authority of Imam Asim. The writer does not adhere to the Ottoman script. The verse ends at the end of the page and does not connect to the next page. The beginning of the part must be the beginning of a new page. At the end of every ten verses, the word (ten) is written in red in the calculator, as are the Ahzab. The signs of prostration are decorated with exquisite decorations and wonderful colours. The copyist added the supplication to conclude the Qur’an at the end of the Qur’an. Perhaps the date of copying is a forgery due to the presence of another manuscript in the handwriting of this scribe, who stated that he completed it on the date: 1162 AD, and it is preserved under the number (2607), which means that the number before the forgery was (173), so it is correct (1173), and this was mentioned by the previous indexer. I would add that this statement is true because I confirmed by comparing the handwriting in the two versions and found that it most likely belongs to one writer. Transcribed by: Hamza Al-Shukri bin Ahmed Al-Ala’i. End of manuscript: Among the evil of the whisperer is the deceiver who whispers into people’s breasts from heaven and humanity..
