A good, modern copy copied from the author’s copy, as is evident from the copyist’s restriction ((from the author’s handwriting in his corner at his shrine, may God have mercy on him, in Misrata, in Misurata, present-day Libya before the copyist came to Mecca. See the book “The Rules of Sufism” by Zarruq himself. It falls within the collection of (36b-39a). The text in it was written in black, viscous, dark tan ink in general, on a brown-coloured fringe-made ink. It is rough, with parallel lines and the commercial watermark appearing. It is in the shape of a palm resting on a base, and two Frankish letters appear, one of which is S. Some of its leaves have been damaged, torn, and destroyed, which has led to the loss of parts of the text, especially on folio 37 and elsewhere.
