Notes
The preamble, which includes - in two panels - Surat Al-Fatihah and the first Surat Al-Baqarah, was decorated with gilded and colored floral and geometric decoration. This decoration was repeated at the beginning of Surat Al-Isra, and at the end of the Qur’an. As for the rest of the pages, they are with gilded tabulations, and their lines are separated by gilded frames. The names of the surahs were written in blue ink on a gilded ground, inside a rectangle decorated with colorful decorations, and on the margins the suns were repeated at each quarter of a party, as for dividers. The verses are gilded circles. The distinctive painting in this copy is the cover of the Qur’an. The yellow ground of the cover is decorated with colorful floral and geometric decorations, in which the precision of its decoration is noted. This decoration includes the two covers and the tongue.
