Notes
The copy is undated, but the credit written by Ahmad Makhzanji is dated 1301 AH. It is a modern copy in which the poem is divided into 44 lines, organized by the nazim in praise of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and a group of honorable companions. He then referred to the extension of God’s mercy and forgiveness to all Muslims, including his sheikhs, and it is in the nazim’s handwriting. At least two leaves were cut from the end of the copy for an unknown reason, and the text was written in it. In dark tangy black ink only in single strips of pencil, and written notes on them in red ink, on a brown-coloured Egyptian-made mug, in which the watermark in English appears ((The Egyptian Government)) and an image of a crescent and a crown. On folio 2a an oval-shaped stamp appears, reading: ((The Hermuz school of Mahmoud Hanafi Abd al-Karim in the year 1309 AH))
