Notes A precious copy in its calligraphy, drawings, and numerous interviews on more than one copy, and its wide circulation among readers and possessors. It appears that it was copied from a copy written by Abd al-Rahman al-Bistami, who died in the year 858 AH, and it differs slightly from our first copy. The text in it was written in black, tangy, dark viscous ink in general, and the copyist used red ink to write the headings of the paragraphs, the chapters, and the chapters, and to draw the tables, the intervals, and the images of the endings, letters, and chapter points. The receipt, etc., is on a satin white, Oriental-made embossed paper in which only the parallel lines appear. The copy was copied in many copies at different times, and the interviewers confirmed their corrections and the different readings in the footnotes with different fonts and different colors of duration. The title page bears a restriction in which the first of them was completely obliterated, while the second text reads: ((From what the driver of times and estimation led until it was organized in the possession of the poor slave, Hajj Muhammad al-Kateb, with notebooks. The protected Yakjariya sect of Damascus, in the holy month of Muharram in the year 1010 A.H., to which was attached a paper bearing the Arjuzah of Alqamah Ibn Sam Ibn Aad Ibn Shalikh in the epics, the first of which is: You see time as treacherous without trust ~ and what is above it is fleeting without residence, and it is in 136 verses. The copy was owned by Ahmed Khairy, may God have mercy on him and us in the year 1359 A.H., and he wrote in his beautiful, exquisite handwriting: ((This book is known as Al-Jafr Al-Saghir, and it is called the Jafr of our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him. Its author made it include the incidents of the regions, their caliphs, their princes, and the signs of the Hour. It included the Jafr of our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Abi Al-Hasan, may God honor his face, Ali, his cousin, and his two sons, and they are the best of prayers and the most complete of the greetings called i.e. the Jafr of the Commander of the Faithful, the comprehensive Jafr and the radiant light. I have two copies, the first is No. The copy was damaged, but this did not greatly affect the clarity of the text. Its booklets and papers were separated from each other and the binding was in need of maintenance, care, and re-binding.
