Notes External size: 23.4 x 17.5 cm. Leaves are loose. The headings of the paragraphs and titles of the chapters and books were written in red ink. There is white between some of the phrases. The end of the copy from which it was quoted stated that the owner of the aforementioned rug died on the night of Saturday, the seventeenth of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 917. Perhaps this is correct. Refer to Mu’jam al-Mutulfi’in 7/225, which stated that he died on the 17th of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 918 AH, while other sources mentioned his death around the year 900 AH, such as Al-A’lam 5/10, Madakhaliyyah Al-Muthafa’in, p. 42, Hadiyat Al-Arifin 1/739, Fahris Al-Azhariya 2/451. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who spread the lights of rulings over the simplest of rulings, thus tearing away the darkness of behavior and illusions.. As for what follows, the Book of Lights by Imam Al-Allamah... Yusuf Al-Ardebili... is a book, as its author, Sharif Latif, said||of great benefits... He mentioned that it was a collection of well-regarded and reliable books such as Sharh Al-Kabir and Al-Saghir... It has traces of wetness and dampness at the end of the manuscript: And the udder is against its dictionary behind its small, weak, open neglected part. And the razih is baraa, and the zay is broken, and the haa is neglected and clearly emaciated, and whoever brings any of it in. The Imam forbade it, so he did not contribute to his horse. Likewise, if he did not forbid it and did not inform him, and God knows best.
