Notes 20.9 x 15.7 cm The beginning of the manuscript: I hear advice from an experienced, wise man who has taught wisdom from the Wise, the All-Knowing. So I say, as long as you seek this world for something other than religion, you are striving for humiliating torment, and as long as you are distracting with it from the lights of certainty, then you are striving for clear loss. Within this collection is the eighth letter from it. The name of its author is not mentioned and it has no opening or conclusion. The paragraph heads were written in red ink. The paragraph breaks are also marked in red ink. It has traces of wetness and dampness at the end of the manuscript: And make us among those who saw and considered and among those who heard and obeyed and were patient until relief and victory were attained from you, for you are the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, Most Loving and Most Righteous Lord. May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, who was created with the best morals among human beings, and upon his family and companions who learned from him honorable morals, so through him they attained the highest ranks and became an example for those after them in the well-known pleasing matter.
