Notes 24.2 x 17.5 cm. The corrected copy, at the end of which is “Sama`a” by Muhammad bin Muhammad Murtada al-Zubaidi, in the presence of the copyist Hassan bin Abdul Rahman al-Husseini, the reciter al-Shafi’i, and it is in the copyist’s hand, dated 1189 AH. Murtada Al-Zubaidi recorded the hearing in his handwriting on the title page as well. On the title page there is an endowment for the copyist for seekers of knowledge. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God for His blessings, and I bear witness that there is no god but God.. Then I had heard the Forty Baladaniyyat by Al-Hafiz al-Salafi.. and I embarked on the Forty Baladiyat, which was not complete without villages, and I will compose it, God Almighty willing. And for about thirty years I had contemplated the dictionary of Abu Bakr al-Muqri.. its dampness and wetness. Copied by: Suleiman bin Taha al-Akrashi bin Abi al-Abbas al-Huraithi al-Husseini.
