The title page bears (The Book of Mercy in Medicine and Wisdom), and what we mentioned is correct. The author has drawn many quotations from the Book of Mercy, saying (the author of the Book of Mercy said) 12 b. 14 b, and the title page bears the title “Thalak” (This blessed book has become, by the grace of God, in the possession of the venerable master, the pride of Islam, Abdullah Abu Hussein Al-Dailami, may God protect him with the right protection from the poor Muhammad bin Muhammad). It is customary for a person to describe himself as poor out of humility before God Almighty, but what is strange here is for the owner to describe himself with the previous honorary titles and to describe the seller in this capacity, unless the seller was the one who recorded the text before handing over the copy to its buyer. He wrote the text in ink. Generally glossy black, while some titles are in red ink on thick-bound paper with parallel lines and a commercial watermark.

(الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلاته وسلامه على سيدنا محمد خاتم النبيين وعلى آله وأزواجه وذريته وأصحابه وأحبائه وأشياعه وأتباعه إلى يوم الدين أما بعد فإني وقفت على المختصر الذي ألفه الفقيه العلامة الرباني عماد الدين يحي بن أبي بكر العامري رحمه الله تعالى في علم الطب المسمى بالتحفة فوجدته كاسمه فإنك تجد فيه من الفوائد مالا تجده في جامع الشيخ إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن الأزرق رحمه الله تعالى وإن كان قد جمع كثيراً وقرب عسيراً ولذلك سماه تسهيل المنافع فهممت أن أضم النكت المهمات في الأزرق إلى التحفة وأرتبه على ترتيبها...).
