Notes
A truncated copy, the first and the other, with comments and footnotes. The edges of some of its leaves were eroded and moisture got into some of them, which led to the loss of part of the footnotes and the obliteration of some words. The rest of the text was written in black ink, the noble verses were marked with a red line above them, and the names of the surahs were written in red ink.

هم يلبسون في الجنة ثياب الإبريسم وهو الذي حرم لبسه في الدنيا على الرجال . أخبرنا عبد الواحد بن أحمد المليحي أخبرنا أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي شريح ... عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " من لبس الحرير في الدنيا لم يلبسه الله في الآخرة ، فإن دخل الجنة لبسه أهل الجنة ولم يلبسه " . قوله عز وجل : { وهدوا إلى الطيب من القول } [ الحج : 24 ] ....

سورة الفيل ، مكية ... وكره أن يجلس معه على سريره وأن يجلس تحته فهبط إلى البساط ثم دعا فأجلسه معه ، ثم قال لترجمانه : قل له حاجتك إلى الملك . فقال له الترجمان ذلك فقال عبد المطلب : حاجتي إلى الملك أن يردّ .
