The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who honored us with those who emigrated from prosody to the honorable city and made the rhyme of our thoughts by extending his pen to the abundance of sciences. As for what follows, the poor servant says to the pardon of his rich Lord... When God has bestowed upon us the reading of our scholar Sheikh... Al-Dasouki, Matn Al-Kafi in the science of prosody and rhymes, and then by reading the Sheikh of Islam Zakaria Al-Ansari on the text of Al-Khazrajiya... The copy was compared to the author's copy and corrected. The chapters and the word (his saying) were written in red ink. The copy contains corrections to areas of the text and corrections to the footnotes. The copy was written during the author's lifetime. On its cover is an anointed possession and seal. Below the title are verses in praise of the explanation by Hassan Al-Attar Al-Azhari. End of the manuscript: Here the pens stop, so we ask God to pardon us for the slip of our feet in the name of our master Muhammad, the best of humanity, his honorable family and companions, and those who follow them in faith until the day of the end. This blessed footnote was completed in Jumada al-Awwal in the year one thousand two hundred and thirty of the Prophet’s Hijra. May the best prayers and peace be upon its owner.
