The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who revealed the book as a preferred Arabic Qur’an and revealed it as a detailed astronomical explanation. As for what follows, knowledge is the most honorable of deeds and the greatest of treasures and relics.. the most useful and most worthy of spending one’s life and time on it, and the etiquette of the mind to be alert in it. The knowledge of interpretation sufficient to guide one to divine knowledge.. Copied by: Abdul Jalil. Ibn Hamzah Ibn Abd al-Rahman, the end of the manuscript: .. (And God is All-Knowing) for He knows the conditions of His servants, their deeds, and their interests in life and in death.. On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, whoever reads Surat An-Nisa, it is as if he had given alms to every believing man, male and female, who inherited an inheritance and was given a reward, as if he had bought a freed one and freed from polytheism, and he was in the will of God among those whom He overlooks. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. The last part ends with the interpretation of Surat An-Nisa. The verses are written in red. Corrected version. On its cover are possessions belonging to: Al-Sharif Muhammad Abdel Majeed Ibrahim Al-Battash in the year 1285 AH, and Muhammad Mustafa Yahya Al-Darwish, and a possession whose owner’s name was not written, dated 1125 AH, and the last possession was signed in the year 1204 AH. The first and last pages of the copy were particularly affected by wetness and dirt.
