The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, who filled the hearts of those who loved him with happiness with the secret of His love and covered their faces with the light of His joy. As for what follows, I received a message from a torch of love with the advice of some of the brothers that I should write a nice summary and a light study on the art of the people of the path and investigation. This is some of the qualities of the honorable Sayyed. Our Sheikh, Abi al-Futuhat Bahaa al-Din al-Sayyid. Abdullah bin Al-Sayyid Ahmad.. Al Aidaroos.. I tabulated the pages of the copy in red and yellow ink, and wrote paragraph heads, headings, and warning lines in red ink. The copy was corrected and had some footnotes, and it was met with another copy. On the cover belongs to Abdullah bin Al-Aqqawi Al-Badri Al-Shafi’i.. Copied by: Ahmed bin Khalil Al-Badri. End of the manuscript: May God grant us success, with what it contains of the will, protect us from its opposition, and may God include us in the line of those who said, “Our Lord is God,” and then remained upright.. O God, for us, for our parents, for our teachers, and for our sheikhs.. and all Muslims from the nation of Muhammad as a whole. Amen, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions. Glory be to your Lord, Lord of Glory above what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. The blank was composed of it.. in the year 1179 AD..
