Notes
A modern, naive, incomplete copy. It falls within the collection (2b-4a). Many of its leaves were dropped after the third leaf. Colloquial constructions and fabricated legends are common in it. It is the work of retaliation. The collection was written by a single copyist in dark brown ink, and he used red ink to write some paragraphs and some sentence breaks [in the form of small solid circles, single or triple], on a rough, brown, European-made paper in which parallel lines and the distinctive commercial watermark [three consecutive crescents] appear. The copy has become wet, affecting parts of the text, but it is still clear and readable. Its pages are separated from each other and its books are disassembled, as they need re-binding and maintenance.

((... فلما فرغ حسين صلبوه حتى قضى نحبه رحمه الله تعالى ثم نزلوه وأضرموا النار فيه حتى بقا رماد فجاءت أخته وأخذت من ذلك الرماد كمشة وخبتها عندها ثلاثة أيام فاضت الفراه [الفرات] على أهل بغداد حتى إنهم عاينوا الغرق ... فقامت وأخذت من الرماد ورمته في الماء ... فما استتم كلامها إلا والماء هبط بقدرة الله تعالى هذا ما انتهى إلينا من قصة الحلاج بالتمام والكمال والحمد لله وحده ...)).
